Corning shows off its new super-strong glass for gadgets, Gorilla Glass 2.As promised, Corning introduced its new super-tough Gorilla Glass 2 at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. More than 500 products currently sport the original Gorilla Glass, and its younger brother will surely find its way into the next generation of smartphones, tablets and touchscreen monitors, in the months to come. Gorilla Glass 2 is thinner than the original Gorilla Glass,
while maintaining the same strength and durability. On the show floor of CES 2012, Corning demonstrated just how much stronger Gorilla Glass 2 is, compared to other available screen glass. Check it out above.
